Product Description
UV-absorbing Finishing Agent UVA is a UV-protection finishing agent for cellulosic fibres and cellulosic-blend fabrics. Because it carries reactive groups for cellulosic fibres, it can be applied in the same bath as dyeing, saving a separate processing step; once reacted with the fibre it also delivers a very high number of wash cycles. Fabrics treated with UVA show a markedly higher UV protection factor (UPF) and a lower T(UVA, UVB) value.

Application & Dosage
Exhaustion (one-bath with reactive dyeing)
Exhaustion (one-bath with reactive dyeing): dilute UVA with cold water and pour it into the treatment bath. Reactive dye X%; sodium sulfate 30-60 g/L; soda ash 10-20 g/L; UVA 1-5%; process 60℃ × 30-60 min; after-treatment: neutralise, soaping, softening.

Padding
Padding: dilute UVA with cold water and add it slowly to the padding trough. UVA 20-50 g/L; wet pick-up 70-90%; heat setting not exceeding 170℃ (drying).
