Dissolving (stock paste preparation): PMA at 80-90 g plus tap water at 920-910 g, making 1000 g of stock paste. Under fast stirring, add the thickener slowly to cold water. Complete swelling into the stock paste takes 3-4 hours.

Printing paste preparation: typically 500-600 g of stock paste is added to make 1 kg of printing paste. This can also be done in an automatic paste mixer.
